Since 2018, Neue deutsche Medienmacher'innen have been awarding Die Goldene Kartoffel, their negative prize for particularly discriminatory reporting. The award is determined by their incorruptible board jury. The more or less proud winners include not only Bild-Zeitung and political talk shows of public broadcasters, but also the clan reporting of Spiegel TV.
